La Rapunzel de la India: su cabello mide 1,90 metros y bate récord Guinness

Una mala experiencia en la peluquería cuando tenía 6 años de edad llevó a que Nilanshi Patel, decida no cortar nunca más su cabello. Hoy, a sus 17 años, la joven fue galardonada con el Récord Guinness 2019 por el cabello más largo en la categoría de adolescentes.

Friends call her Rapunzel - Nilanshi Patel has been growing her hair since she was six years old following a bad experience at the hairdressers 💇🏽‍♀️ The 16-year-old from Gujarat, India, has set a new record for the longest hair on a teenager, with lengthy locks that measure 170.5 cm (5 ft 7 in). "I got my hair cut, a really bad haircut. So, then I decided that I won’t cut my hair. I decided that when I was six and have not cut it since," she explained. Nilanshi recently appeared on a brand-new TV series of record breaking, La Notte dei Record (The Night of Records) on Italy's @tv8it. "People think that I face so many problems with my hair, but I don't face any problems, I do sports and all the things with my hair. It's a lucky charm for me!" "I style it is as a long braid or as a bun on the top of my head. Rapunzel, como la llaman sus amigos, vive en una pequeña aldea en el estado de Gujarat al oeste de la India y su cabellera mide 1,90 metros.

En diciembre del año 2018, su cabello medía 1,75 metros, cabellera que también le había valido un récord Guinness, por lo que este 2020, superó su propia marca.

En cuanto a los cuidados, la Rapunzel de la India reveló que no son muchos más que los que realiza cualquier otra chica de su edad. “Me lavo el cabello una vez por semana y le pongo aceite una o dos veces por semana”. A la hora de mostrarlo, elige realizarse una trenza o amarrarlo con moños.

Nilanshi reveló a Guinness que suele usar zapatos con taco para evitar pisar su propio cabello.
